Over Memorial Day 2006 weekend, a white pickup truck was parked and shooting LIDAR on Galla Creek Road overpass, under a mile before the Pottsville Exit 88 exit targeting traffic headed east-bound. The full-size pickup had no obvious law enforcement markings. It was parked near the edge of the overpass in an area partially hidden by vegetation. It should be noted ONLY the east-bound direction was being enforced. There were at least 2 troopers awaiting. Both were writing tickets at the time. A friend told me about the heavy enforcement, that at least 13 LEOs were seen for the next 20+ miles from that location.
