Police set up at the end of a hedge at the bottom of a long hill just east of the exit. MD State Police cars are painted in a scheme that seems to blend in to any background. The exit itself is at the crest of the hill and they seem to count on your concentration being on the usual extra activity at an exit to not see them perhaps half a mile ahead. That, plus the usual tendency to gain speed going downhill makes this a prime hunting spot. Having worked years of shift work I’ve seen them there at all times of the day and night. Be near the speed limit as you crest the hill and look ahead in the median where the highway starts to curve.
