Troopers sit on the I-485 interchange bridge from I-85 just prior to Sam Wilson Rd. Traffic going north on 85 has to crest a hill prior to the interchange. The interchange is at the bottom of a long hill where troopers have begun using laser to catch people coming over the crest. When you see a unit on the bridge, you usually pass several cars pulled over within half of a mile of passing under the bridge.
