Interstate Moanalua Freeway H-201 near Kahuapaani Street Halawa Heights Road overpass Street
As you are coming down from Red Hill Ewa bound on Moanalua Freeway (H-201) approaching the Kahuapaani Street (Halawa Heights Road) overpass, the lanes of the freeway will divide with two lanes heading towards Aiea/Pearl Ridge and two lanes towards Pearl City/Waipahu. When you enter the Pearl City/Waipahu bound lanes of the freeway after passing Kahuapaani Street overpass, the lanes will immediately go into a S-curve. Usually one or two HPD solo bikes are parked on the right shoulder in the middle or at the end of the S-curve. They can be spotted there at around 7:30 p.m. and can remain there till the early morning hours on any given day of the week. Speed limit in that portion of the freeway is 50 mph. Watch your speed as you approach the Kahuapaani Street overpass and enter the Pearl City/Waipahu bound lanes of the freeway as HPD solo bikes will be there to tag you with there lasers. Solo bikes have been spotted tonight and on previous occasions.
