The cops sit on the overpass above traffic on Kearny Villa road shooting radar at cars going south on Kearny Villa Road just before traffic can enter onto 163 South. There is a bike lane also at that point and many bike riders have gotten killed at this same point. I know of only one small sign posted saying speed limit 50 ahead and then another small sign saying speed limit 50 down from 65 mph. I wish that the signs were bigger since so many bicyclists have gotten killed at this same point where cars can merge onto 163 south. May the bicyclists that have died here rest in peace. For the motorists driving it is jail time and manslaughter charges. Maybe the city should lower the speed limit on Kearny Villa Road or post larger signs warning motorists.
