The speed limit of 30MPH between MD213 and the 45 mile an hour limit sign at the Power station is strictly enforced in both directions by the Chestertown police and the MSP when the Jeep is not there. The Jeep checks speed in both directions.

On the shoulder of East bound 400 block Morgnec Road sits a dark colored ford explorer which has maryland plates and harmlessly appears to be parked there. However be warned as the sneaky po po have hidden a speed trap camera inside. It appears to only work during the day in the light as I have never seen a flash involved with it. I have received two separate citations in the mail a week apart and both during the day for $40.00 each!!!. I commute to and from work past this trap but i won't be going this way anymore. Chestertown has taken its last penny from my pocket. Oh BTW there are no signs or postings of any kind stating that there is speed enforcement around. Also my citations stated I was going 45 in a 30 but you can clearly see a 45 mph speed increase sign about 300 feet ahead...so this IMO a total money grab. These nuisance hidden cameras have to be outlawed!!!! Eff U Chestertown! If someone starts a petition i will be signing it for sure.

There is a speed camera in front of the school and across the street from Todd's Auto Body.
