McKnight Rd. is the most travelled corridor into the north suburbs of Pittsburgh, with a lot of malls lining it. Ross Police take advantage of this by strategically hiding in car dealership parking lots, and pulling motorists over for various reasons, not just speeding. I used to work at one of the malls and every night would see two cop cars fly out of nowhere and pull somebody over pulling out of a traffic light or something. Thank God I always stay in the left lane sandwiched between two cars. Hotspots to look out for are McCrackin Ford, Pep Boys, the parking lot right before the I-279 S onramp, and the motorcycle guy hiding in the Intown Suites lot–now he is ruthless! He has a turnaround time of no more then 5 minutes!
