Nashville (BNA) airport
Metro/airport cops strickly enforce full and complete stops at all (6 or more) stop signs in the ticketing/drop-off lanes at the airport, especially during slow traffic times when they can single out drivers. Airport cops cannot issue tickets, so they wait untill a metro officer arrives to issue the citation…who didn’t witness the violation….a legal grey area.

Not sure where you got your information but it's not quite right. Your mixing up Airport Police Officers and Traffic Enforcement Officers. The TEO's write parking tickets and the Airport Police write moving violations and parking tickets. Both are Metro tickets just as if they were written by a Metro officer. They do not need to involve MPD for any reason. As a retired Airport Police Captain I can attest to this. They also run RADAR and LASER. I hope this helps clear things up a little bit.
