North end of Millet on Hwy 2A
Opposite the Garden Market supermarket there is a road going east over the railroad tracks. The speed limit drops from 100 kph to 50 kph and is in effect about 300 or 400 meters before the intersection in question. Cops often park near the stop sign facing west during the evening rush hour catching speeding city commuters coming home from work who fail to scrub enough speed before they get into town. Typical speed for rushing commuters is still around 75 or 80 kph as they pass the speed limit 50 sign. They are still braking but by then it’s too little too late.
