Cop in White unmarked car, that resembles a cab from a distance. He sits on the right shoulder on the North service road (headed west) of the LIE between Exit 58 and 57. He is positioned far enough west of the Marriott parking lot which allows the motorist sufficient time to accelerate to what is normally 55 miles per hour, That is the normal speed limit along the LIE service road in Suffolk. BUT it is 40 miles per hour, at that point AND the first speed limit sign you see after leaving the parking lot of the Marriott is JUST before you are tagged by the COP's radar gun, which is pointed at you, while you are driving west toward his parked UNMARKED car. A definite and well positioned Speed Trap.
