Old Bridge T’pke and Main Street
Opposite of the firehouse, past Chestnut Street and the cemetry that precedes it, a police officer will sit in the parking lot, or in a little section facing Northbound traffic on Old Bridge Turnpike. The idea is to catch people doing two things…anyone that may be exceeding the 35mph speed limit going down that hill approaching that major interestion leading to Rt 18N, or to stop anyone that will not acknowledge the STOP sign that regulates traffic entering Old Bridge Turnpike (it’s the exit "Main Street/Spotswood" if you were traveling NB on Rt 18). Please be very careful, as this is a very dangerous intersection, and the East Brunswick PD knows it! And now, so do you!
