DC 295 .4 miles s/o Pennsylvania Ave SE sw/b I have been driving for two years in this area where 695 goes straight and then on to a ramp to get on to 295. I have never gotten a ticket. It really makes me mad because the whole thing should be at 60 mph at least. Now I've got two in a row at $100 each. I have probably in my two years spent now $800 in tickets between driving in areas where all of the sudden after a year of driving they will turn on a camera. Or driving in an area I'm not familiar with. Fix the potholes instead of taking people's money. DCs schools are lousy, its the nations capitol yet their roads are full of potholes, city services from DMV to healthcare are extremely poor and then they talk about home rule -it's such a joke. They can't even take care of their roads so have to put up speed cameras so they can make more money so that their corrupt politicians and city workers can abscond with funds.
