There is a 75mph sign less than a mile before the 60mph sign and no reduce speed or speed zone signs. The police sit right at the sign. This is speed trap that ignores the TX-DOT recommendations for safe speed zone reduction (such as placement of reduce velocity or speed zone signs) but does not break them because it is worded municipality “may” implement rather than shall… It is not only a speed trap but without signs warning of reduced speeds ahead, it is a traffic hazard because you go from country to town rather quickly. Be careful.
