On Suitland Rd.between Suitland Parkway and Allentown Rd.
Two speed cameras are within this municipality. Both are on Suitland Rd. and located towards east end of town. They are enclosed within tiny boxes which appear to be utility devices. The town is under scrutiny by county for illegally placing cameras on Suitland Rd. Rationale was that cameras are in school zone which is clearly not the case. Several drivers have been ticketed by malfunctioning cameras. WTOP radio has investigated this and found complaints to be valid.
