I used to live on this road, This is most definately a speed trap. I saw police there 2 to 3 times per week.

I disagree with the comment that "you don't even realize you're in the 50 zone". It's well posted. And there are a number of streets in Burlington where the limit is a measly 40 Km! Check out Hampton Heath, north of Lakeshore. There used to be a school there but they've never changed the limit to the more appropriate 50 Km even though the school is long gone. You just have to be very observant; the signage is there. What's more difficult to see sometimes is the sign indicating the end of the flashing 40 Km zones around school zones on streets like New and Lakeshore. YMMV!
