Ransom Road near Froberg Road
Ransom Road has several steep hills. A driver must brake in order to avoid exceeding posted 30 mph. This is a formerly rural area, recently developed, with homes sitting away from the street and facing inward. Turning south on Froberg provides for 35 mph in another recently developed stretch. However, area is most heavily patrolled prior to Froberg at the lower limit after the hills. Officers "apparently" employ moving radar, and appear to "troll" this stretch, often making U-turns to traverse Ransom between Campbell/Froberg and ticketing traffic moving in opposite direction. Some stationary enforcement at SELF parking lot, side streets, or developer’s driveway after turning off of Froberg. Heavy high school traffic provides plethora of targets, along with am/pm workers. Watch for the standard "50 in a 30," with use of the moving radar.
