The Town of Port Royal, adjacent to Beaufort, SC, recently lowered the speed limit on Ribaut Road, from the Naval Hospital to the Battery Creek bridge. The speed limit is now 40 mph for a four-lane thoroughfare. It is more of a speed trap now with cars being stopped all hours of the day. The Town of Port Royal has in their 2009-2010 budget the sum of $130,000 for court fines. Guess where this revenue is to come from?

Good olde Beaufort county always lowering speed limits and making retarded 3 lane roads. This is why I moved and never looked back. Now I feel like I am modern.
