I have gotten 2 tickets in this same area I have been both times heading south and the police hide at the armory or behind the old embroidery business where you can’t see them. It will be 45 mph then right where they sit it goes to 35, so if you don’t slam on your brakes you get a ticket. The cop told me I was going 40 in a 35 I questioned getting a ticket for 5 over (I had someone on the phone that was sitting on my lap where he didn’t know they were on there) they heard the exact same thing he said it twice and when I questioned 5 over again he said “I said 48mph” even though he agreed twice to the 5 over and it’s a 175.00 ticket. I am born and raised in this town so I take pride in it but the cop that pulled me over both times almost a year apart is a jerk. I’d just stay away from the town altogether because I can guarantee you that the cop that pulled me over will never give anyone a break even 5 over and is the biggest jerk I’ve ever met.
