Rt 30 from Tupper Lake to Long Lake is heavily patrolled. Going down the hill in a southerly direction a couple of miles before the town of Long Lake a State Trooper with radar is hiding most days. The speed limit drops from 55 to 40 just before you go down the hill. Troopers are also hiding each day at various spots in the tiny town watching for cars not coming to a full stop at the stop signs. This is a very heavily patrolled town.
