S. IH-35 Mile Marker 410
All traffic (in the middle of no where) was traveling about 75 on a highway where the speed limit is 75 almost everywhere (except an unseen town called Red Oak where it is 65). They pulled all of us over and we waited while they issued tickets.
Found this in a search: Evidence shows that the city’s police force began issuing a traffic ticket every twenty minutes during a severe budget shortfall. The police chief budgeted $3.4 million in citation revenue, which required each officer to issue 320 tickets a month. A bulletin board in the police station displayed how each officer measured up.
