Shea Blvd. from Scottsdale Road to Fountian Hills.
Keep an eye out for speed enforcement vans all along Shea. Know the limit and don’t go more than ten over. There are fixed speed cameras at Scottsdale Road, 90th street, and just west of the canal between the 124th street and Frank Lloyd Wright lights. The limit is 40 west of Miller Road; 45 from Miller Road east to 96th Street; 50 from 96th Street east to Fountian Hills. The worse is when the van is sitting right where the limit drops or just before it increases. East of 96th is problably the trap(s) that catch most people by surprise as it is easy to feel like you are crusing at the speed limit, when you are really speeding 10 to 30 mph over the limit. The freedom of a wide open six lane highway might be tempting, but unless you have a Radar/Lidar detector, or a seperate bank account designated for speeding tickets, don’t push it.
