South of Derry Road on Walkers Line
This cop was situated in someone’s driveway! There’s a huge property on the left going towards Burlington (a few minutes south from Derry Rd) with a big gate and big driveway. The cop was sitting in here and had his radar gun out. I was asked to pull into this guys driveway to get a ticket. The owner even ended up coming out of his property while I was pulled over there! Then 2 more cops showed up and parked in this guys driveway as well. Apparently there will be many people being pulled over along this stretch of road right now.

I can assure you if the officers are working from a private driveway, it is with the owner's permission and generally following up an area complaint, not necessarily from that homeowner either. During my time in uniform, we frequently found that area residents, the same ones that complained about speeding, were the ones we most frequently encountered over the limit!!
