Southwest Parkway near Langford Street
Just before and just after school hours, the area of Southwest Parkway next to South Knoll Elementary school is heavily policed. It’s regularly 35 mph at all other times, but 20 mph during the school zone hours. The problem is that there is a stop sign in the middle of this school zone, and I’ve seen lots of people going 20 mph who stop at the stop sign, and then pull away going 35 mph, completely forgetting that they’re still in the school zone. Which is what the cops are counting on. There is an officer who will sit a little ways down Lawyer St, and another who will sit at Laura Ln. Both are far enough back that you can’t see them right away, and they’re usually on motorcycles.
