State Highway 194 North
State Trooper sits very often, at any time of day or night, outside the gates of the NC DOT on Hwy. 194 North. DOT is located just past Howard’s Creek Road, on left, as you are driving away from Boone city limits. This is a straight stretch of highway, and they anticipate that drivers will be going faster at this section of highway. Beware!
