The town’s of Lyman, Wellford and Duncan are all speed traps. Avoid all of them if possible.

The town of Wellford has quietly annexed the right of way along 29 east toward Spartanburg for a long ways from Wellford so they can legitimately pull you over. So watch out. You can be pulled over by Wellford's finest long before you actually reach town.
