State Route 5 near Evangola State Park Entrance
Most often set up for westbound traffic on Rt 5 just before the entrance to the Evangola state park. The speed drops from 55 to 45 mph and the Brant police set up just around a bend to the right so you can not see him until to late. The state police also like to set up a sticker check point just past the park enterence, mostly on weekend afternoons. So make sure your inspection and reg is up to date.

I can verify this as a speed trap, I got a ticket 14 miles over limit, the speed signs drop suddenly, by the time you realize its 45 its to late. The night I had to appear in town court there were over 200 people arraigned, I would safely say this could be considered a speed trap. The charge was reduced to parking tickets but still cost 150.00
