State Route 517/ Main Street near Borough border
Route 517 South’s speed limit is 50mph until you enter Ogdensburg. The speed limit then drops to 35mph. Cops are ALWAYS checking speeds and are VERY strict. I know someone who got a ticket for doing 36 in a 35. Northbound on 517 the speed limit drops from 50 to 40 then 35 and the cops are just as bad northbound.

The speed limit in the main part of town approaching the grade school going North is 30 miles an hour not 35.
