This speed trap, at least northbound on PA93, does not meet the requirements of Pa Motor Vehicle, Section 3368 as it refers to use of Mechanical Speed Timing Devices. This section of the Code requires 500 feet before a device can be used. The speed zone starts at the Borough Line. The "timing lines" also start at the Borough line, thus the 500 feet requirement is being ignored. This evidence presented at a hearing will result in a discharge of the speeding ticket but you do have to request a hearing.

It must be nice to be a former cop and all you have to do is show a badge and you do not get a ticket for speeding. I guess all reules are not equal.
