Most of the trip from Albion to Elba is a straight run, open highway. Yet the speed limit is only 55, far too slow for existing conditions usually. This stretch is heavily enforced with a large police presence. Not unusual to see at least 2 or 3 cop cars along the way, either driving along, or parked over on the side of the road somewhere. They vary their location greatly, so it’s best to be extra vigilant at all times on this stretch.
