SW 27th Ave Southbound has 4 lanes (1 to turn left – east, 2 continue south, and one’s a right turn lane only). The light going south takes forever, and some people take the right turn lane and just switch over. For the past 3 months, City of Miami has two cops hiding at the Lincoln-Marti Private School (founder of it’s a political bigwig, was even a commissioner at some point, and I’ve never seen any kids there). The one cop will stand on the corner and just pull people over for what is essentially a safe manuever, and the other guy hiding in the school parking lot will sit in the car, run your plate and write the ticket. They easily get 4 or 5 cars every morning during rush hour. Clearly a revenue generator for Miami.
