U.S. 52 near Railroad Crossing
Speed limit drops from 55 mph to 45 and then to 35 as you approach "center" of town near railroad crossing. There’s really not much of a town here and no good reason for a 35 mph speed limit. Town cop will sit in an unmarked Crown Vic clocking passing motorists with K band radar. One saving grace is Town Ordinance 11-65 which allows them to charge you with the city "Careless Operation" law. It carries an inflated fine, but no points. Take it from someone who’s family owns a business here, the police in this town are truly horrible.
