U.S. Hwy. 222 bypass, E. of Rt. 100, both directions
Just east of Route 100, U.S. Hwy. 222 makes an overpass of a railroad track. Local police park in the grass median up against the guard rails. Since they’re local, they can’t use laser or radar. However, there are very obvious lines painted across the highway that they clock you between. You can see both the parked cruisers and the lines a mile away, but people still get stopped here all the time. I’ve seen this trap run during pretty much any daytime hours. The speed limit is 45 here, but this segment of 222 was designed for 65+.
