US Highway 10 near Dexter Street
Cops from time to time wait at this intersection to bust speeders. If you are going eastbound you are pretty safe, as you can see the cop in enough time – plus the speed limit has just increased here so you probably aren’t speeding. Westbound is another matter. The stretch of 10 east of town is virtually never patrolled west of County QQ, so speeding is very common. Plus you enter town as you come over a hill, so the cop is often not visible. My advice: Speed in the country if you wish, but slow to about 60-62 right before you come up the hill to town.
