Going East(or West) on US Highway 178, just as you past the Town of Harleyville sign. The sidewalk ends and the road narrows signifying the end of the town, but the town speed limit (45mph) does not end there. The town limit extends past that point. The town police sits on the left side of the highway just past where the sidewalk ends. You can not see them until it is too late to reduce your speed. They are mostly there late night and early morning (11pm-6am)
