US Highway 202 near State Route 926
Beware when entering Birmingham Township,i.e 1 mile after passing US 1, and going US202 North especially. This local cops are very unforgiving, and will ticket constantly. I pass here multiple times of day. The speed limit is 45, and yet most cars travel faster, as its a high traffic area. Again Birmingham Township officers target this region, even though US202(Wilmington Pike/West Chester Pike) takes a little portion of this township.) Its a cash cow to the township. I work in this area and confirm the Birmingham police are using the mile or so section between Brinton bridge/Dilworthtown rd and Mercedes benz dealership. Check out the shape of the township boundary. It seems that somewhere they made a deal so that this tiny stretch of 202 is inside their twp. Every day they are out there generating revenue which is easy because the speed limit is 45mph and at rush hour you will get killed if you go that slow because of tailgators that are also breaking the law but the police choose to ignore those which are most definitely more dangerous but less revenue for the township.
