US Highway 287 near City Limits
Legislation added the $100 flat rate to every ticket and suddenly the city has cars parked under bridges at both ends of the city limits where 287 goes through. It is not uncommon to see both cars having someone pulled over on both north and southbound sides at all times. I’m not even sure that as small as the town is, that the highway is their jurisdiction, but I’m sure they count on noone contesting any ticket and just paying. New law put dollar signs in the cities eyes and they’re acting accordingly.
