US Highway 52
Officer frequently sits at US 52 near the West Corporation Limits off of the road way right next to a small utility station, around 500 yards from the West Corporation Limit Sign. From the road, unless you look, you can not visualize the officer, because this "drive lane that he is setting in" sets below the road. The officer also does not have any lights on. This is noticed after dark.

I passed through Aberdeen this weekend and got a speeding ticket on Hwy 52 also. The officer was sitting right by the bridge but he had his radar pointed back towards Manchester. The limit was 55 then drops to 35. I guess you must immediately slam on your brakes. The fine is $137. Since I live in Alabama, I won't be traveling back for court but when I talked to the girl in the office she said it would not do any good since the court rarely reverses a speeding ticket. You are totally at their mercy or should I say no mercy. I am sure Aberdeen deserves the reputation they have. A small town that will likely stay that way.
