US Highway 84 near Golf Course
Police position themselves on the hill either going up or down so that people trying to go up the hill might give their cars too much gas to ascend or descend so they can ticket the ones who accelerate too much. They are out there once or twice a month and only for the town of Woodway only, since the little town lies on the outskirts of Waco, and Waco police department never enforces speed there since there are no houses on the highway or no real traffic crossing it there. Also the trap is always on the hill and never in the flat areas of Woodway. The police will harrass you, especially if they see that you have a radar detector. They are known there for trying to ticket people by claiming they are speeding without even using the radar at all. But if you have a radar detector they will drop it if you ask them why your detector did not go off at all. Anyway the speed in the area I am talking about is 60 mph but should really be 70 because there are not any crossroads or anything there except for a steep hill and if you drive the speed limit it will slow you down to 50 mph creating a bigger traffic problem.
