US Hwy 41A – Stateline Rd to I-24
Small town adjacent to the Fort Campbell, KY military reservation whose police force can be seen 24 hours a day ticketing motorists for speeding and other minor traffic violations (improper turns, failing to change lanes for a police car on the shoulder, etc.) Town has very little commerce, so they use the soldiers and civilians working on Fort Campbell for revenue generation.

May or not be a speed trap. But tickets are not written for revenue generation. Unlike some states, Cities and Police Departments in KY do no get any money from tickets. The money from tickets in KY all goes to the state which uses it to cover the costs of the court system. And the state has no say in telling a police department to write more tickets. I have been a cop for 20 years and have never been told how many tickets to write.
