The speed limit on this road starts at 35mph near Almshouse Rd. and declines to 25mph going towards York Rd. (263). There are 2 or 3 parks where people wishing to fish in the creek can park. This is where the cops routinely sit and wait for speeders. The decline to 25 is pretty fast and STRICTLY enforced. The speed limit is ridiculous- it doesn’t make sense that it changes from 35 to 25, there are no significant changes in housing. I have learned to drive no more than 27 down the road- despite being constantly tailed by people who do not realize that there are countless police back there. Beware!
