W-42 N. bound by tourist info building
Cop parks on northbound side of street amoungst cars parked for the tourist info building. The speed limit outside of town is 55 and quickly drops to 25. Cops love to stop tourist on their way to Door County. Odds of a ticket double if you have Illinois plates.

Part of this is untrue!! The speed limit does NOT drop quickly froim 55 down to 25. It drops in steps from 55 down to 45 for a mile or so, then 35 for a mile-2 mile, then down to 25. If people are watching the signs, they would see this. Yes, the cops do sit in this area, big deal..they are doing their job. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic in this area, especially in tourist season. Slow down, or you are going to get a ticket. Thank you Algoma Police Department fot your effort to keep us safe.
