Cops patrol the school zone, and rightly so, very actively when the school zone speed limit is in effect. I saw one cop finishing up on citation on a side street, get stopped at a light, and pull another car before we got to the far side of the school zone. Also, another cop was patrolling in the opposite direction. You may get some warning going east-bound on Washington since they have a K-band speed warning device on the east bound lane. Also, the cops runs K-band as well. Limit is 20 MPH, I wouldn’t recommend going much over it.
