WB Baltimore Ave., just off of Ashby Rd, in St. Ann, Mo.
When you turn off of Ashby onto Baltimore Ave., you are going down a hill. Just as you start to go up the hill, there on the side of the road is a sign slow school zone, with a sign below it that says speed limit 15 mph. The school in question is approx. 1000 feet away from the posted speed limit sign, with a large row of trees blocking the schools first entrance. At the speed limit sign, there are no yellow flashing lights to help bring this school zone speed to anybody’s attention. After all it is for the safety of the school children. RIGHT? At one of the other school zone speed signs on Ashby, there is not only a speed zone sign to inform motorists, but also flashing yellow lights to also help bring attention to oncoming motorists. The speed trap in question on Baltimore Ave., has a temporary camera on a portable trailer, so they can position this trap any where they want at a moments notice, and it also is well hidden a amongst telephone polls and various other signs. I feel this is a speed trap without any warning.
