West on White Oak near the city limit
The only posted 25 Mph speed limit sign is within 30 ft of the turn from M40 onto White Oak, easily missed, and easily exploited by an officer hidden in a private driveway. If you entered White Oak from Walker or presume that being in sight of the 35 Mph sign at the edge of town, you might want to keep it well below 30 Mph to avoid the 95$ ticket. I spoke with others in town later and it seems they have quite the revenue influx going that would easily be resolved by adding another sign (or perhaps moving the existing one down a block like other streets in the area). The officer was nice enough to let me step out of my vehicle to see how clearly the sign in the opposite direction could be read. My first ticket in over 20 years and I got to watch someone else get the same ticket less than 30 minutes later.
