This city uses it’s law enforcement as a fund raiser. You are not safe anywhere in Moorpark. The local police is the Sheriffs Dept. Like the Sheriff of Nottingham.

The city does use the revenue from tickets and the cops do give out MANY tickets. I agree Moorpark is a very safe place to live, but you will be pulled over for ANY infraction and ticketed for ANYTHING. I can verify this because I have a family member who is a cop for Moorpark!!
