This is a speed trap and a much needed one. People come in and out of Hatboro on York Road like they were at the Indy 500! Slow down and you won't have to worry about speed traps.

The speed limit on this stretch of road use to be 40 mph. Last summer they reduced it to 25 mph. I seriously doubt that there is a traffic engineering study to support this low speed limit on a four lane road. The federal law requires that a speed limit cannot be set lower than what 85% of cars on that road typically do under normal dry conditions. I plan to fight my ticket in court, and I am requesting the traffic engineering study to take with me. They lowered the speed limit to create the speed trap. If the problem was near the businesses in town, why not simply pull people over there! Previous commenter is wrong.
