Collierville, Tennessee Speed Traps
Queen Oak Street between W. White Rd. and W. Powell Rd.
The street is 5 vehicles wide and the road between West White Rd. and W. Powell Rd. has several side streets where the police hide. The speed limit is 20 mph. and the side streets are also 20 mph. The street is also a cut through street that many people use as a shortcut. Police hide just far enough back to prevent being seen until you are right up on them. They Never give a break to anyone and it is just a huge money maker for the town.
385 from Memphis to 1-40
several departments work 385 as it crosses county lines several times.
Halle Parkway in Halle Plantation
The southern most 2 blocks of Halle Parkway. Speed limit is 20 in this residential area.
I have seen more Collierville cops here in the last two months than in the previous 10 years. The only saving grace is that they are not consistent in the enforcement. Sometimes 31 gets their attention and sometimes 25. Go figure!
Bray Station – between Frank Road and Poplar
30 MPH speed limit . Cops wait for speeders going towards Poplar on Bray Station and get you where the 2 lane road widens up. They hide their car in residential drives, or the church parking lot.
Tn385 From the Collierville Town limit to the Hwy 72 exit.
