Morristown, Tennessee Speed Traps
State Highway 113 near US Highway 11 East
Mostly State Troopers sit on Hwy 113 in Russellville between the old school and the new school. Usually sit at the small storefront parking lot (that now serves as a church). Posted limit is 20MPH. Any speeding thru there is cause for a stop and even a search. I personally am familiar with one of the Troopers…..his quote, "I get a lot of drunk drivers like that (speeding stops in this area)." Of course a fella coming home from work going 30MPH (which is a very safe speed for this road) gets a ticket too.

East AJ Highway
The police will hide at several places along East AJ Hwy(11E) close to the 25E interchange. If you are going west from 25E, there will more than likely be a police car hiding at any building for the next 2 miles. They will write a ticket for any reason. If they are behind on quota, they will write tickets for going through yellow lights.
