Nashville, Tennessee Speed Traps
Mt. View Rd. between Murfreesboro Rd. and Hamilton Church.
Set-up is at a church on the righthand side traveling towards Murfreesboro Rd. I travel this road every morning and afternoon. I have not seen them there in the afternoons only during the morning rush hour.
Tusculum Rd. at Benzing Rd.
Benzing sits at the bottom of a "concave" hill, covered by trees (Eastbound on Tusculum). Serves no purpose other than "income generation."
Hickory Hollow PKY eastbound near the mall
After close to a mile on a windy "woodsy" street, with a speed limit of 30MPH, the cops sit in one of the closed businesses parking lots, "capturing eastbound" travelers. Another "income generation" speed trap.
on Briley Parkway between I-24 and Murfreesboro Road exit
Metro Police sit on this stretch and use radar both directions after you go under the Curry Road overpass.
Porter Rd & Tillman Ln
Metro sits at this location using radar for traffic that is coming off Eastland Ave. Usually, it’s the same officers that run radar on Eastland on opposite days. Be carefull, it’s easy swinging around the curve doing 40 MPH and you are clocke as soon as your grill comes around the corner. This is a 30MPH zone.
