Nashville, Tennessee Speed Traps
Briley Parkway Loop near Two Rivers Pky Drive
As you are driving on Briley Pkwy toward Opry Mills, there are usually officers sitting as you come around the curve. They usually sit closest to the Opry Mills exit. WATCH OUT!
State Highway 155 Briley Parkway near Murfreesboro Road
Motorcycle patrol will be sitting at off rap taking speed pics while speed is 50mph.
Briley Parkway near Murfreesboro Road
The area between I-40 and Lebanon Rd. is enforced almost daily during rush hour periods and through the day. Since this is a main travel route to Opry Mills Mall, The airport and several local businesses including: Dell Inc, Gibson Guitars and various industrial type businesses this trap seems to be very effective for the police and quite lucritive as well I might add. The speed limit is 55mph. I would not go 56mph and make sure all your lights work and tags up to date. The same guy also patrols Murfreesboro Rd. and switches positions throughout the day. You’ll see him; a motorcycle cop; white guy with a big moustache.
West End Avenue near SunTrust Bank/Discount Liquors
Several Metro cops sit in the parking lot of Suntrust and Discount Liquors on any given night and pull people over for speeding in a 30mph zone.
Korean Veterans Boulevard near Shelby Street
Be careful crossing the Shelby Street Bridge near LP Field. The cops are just waiting there for speeders! Like shooting fish in a barrel!
